SOS Children's Villages Netherlands is a member of the international federation SOS Children's Villages, operating in 138 countries where family care is central. SOS Children's Villages believes that every child should be able to grow up in a loving and safe environment. SOS Children's Villages believes in the strenght of family.

Worldwide, 1 in 10 children grow up in an unsafe situation or are left alone. For these children, SOS Children's Villages is committed on a structural basis. We support and strengthen families. Even in crisis situations. This enables them to continue caring for their children and prevents families from falling apart. We give children without a family or in an unsafe home situation a new home within an SOS family. So that they can grow up to become independent adults.
