Aidsfonds - Soa Aids Nederland Terms of Reference – October, 2026
Consultant Corporate Fundraising
Timeline: November – December 2026
Background & Rationale
As Aidsfonds – Soa Aids Nederland seeks to continue diversifying its funding base, engaging with corporate organizations is a key opportunity. This is primarily with corporate organizations across the Netherlands and the Benelux, from small organizations to large multinationals. At the same time, Aidsfonds – Soa Aids Nederland is in the process of merging with Rutgers. As a merged organization, we are working together towards a single strategic direction for sexual health and rights in the Netherlands and around the world. Our new organization is dedicated to creating a world in which everyone can make free and safe choices about their bodies, relationships, and sexuality, and where no one dies of AIDS.
This consultancy will support Aidsfonds – Soa Aids Nederland in the development of a focused corporate fundraising strategy that can fit into a larger fundraising strategy, with clear high-potential engagement modalities and value propositions.
Purpose of the Consultancy
The purpose of this assignment is to support Aidsfonds – Soa Aids Nederland, and the newly merged organization formed with Rutgers in developing a long-term corporate engagement strategy. This consultancy should provide a clear assessment of the corporate funding landscape and market opportunities in the Netherlands and Benelux region, and a strategic framework that outlines potential engagement modalities and compelling corporate-aligned value propositions. By articulating clear mutual benefit, ROI, and CSR/ESG alignment for corporate partners, this strategy will position the organization to pursue strategic, long-term corporate partnerships.
It is important to note that a significant amount of groundwork has already been completed and can be made available to inform and accelerate this consultancy.
